Tiny Startups Review: Is It Worth It in 2026?
· Reviewed by Dan
A free, indie-friendly launch platform with real traffic, a DR63 backlink, and one of the best ways to get your first users.
Who Is It For?
Startup founders, indie makers, and developers who want to launch something and actually get seen. If you are small and bootstrapped, this is for you. Product Hunt is built for bigger companies. Tiny Startups is the indie-friendly alternative.
What I Like
I have used Tiny Startups myself to feature a lot of products. It works.
We need more launch platforms like this. Product Hunt right now is extremely focused on corporations and big startups. If you are small, you get almost no chance of getting featured or traffic from there. Tiny Startups is different. You can launch for free, get early users and traction, and you get a DR63 dofollow backlink for SEO.
The reach and traffic are solid. There is a daily leaderboard with good curation. The newsletter goes out to 20k+ founders, which is a serious audience if you want quality eyeballs on your product.
Pricing is honest. Launching is free if you are willing to wait in the queue. If you have budget, you can pay to skip the line and launch the next day, or look at sponsoring the newsletter for a very high quality type of audience. Either way, if you are launching something, I would definitely go here. There is no reason not to.
What Could Be Better
Free launches are not instant. You might wait a few weeks in the queue unless you pay to move up. That is the tradeoff for a free launch with real distribution.
Free launches also require you to embed their badge on your site. Fair enough, but worth knowing upfront.
Verdict
Tiny Startups is one of the best places to get your initial customers. Strong recommend. If you are indie or early stage, put your product here. Free if you wait, paid if you want speed or extra exposure. Either way, do it.
